Herbal tea: Moderate amounts of liquids such as herbal tea is fine. If you drink in excess you MAY be retaining fluid and thus gain weight. If you drink large amounts of other fluids as well this adds to the situation. Eight 8 oz. glasses of water/tea is suggested by many nutritionists daily. If petite, less.
