No.: Gonorrhea is treated with other antibiotics, and patients are usually treated for chlamydia as well. Partners should be treated to prevent re-infection.

Gonorrhea: Gonorrhea is now only treated by an antibiotic that is given as an injection. All other treatments, oral medications, are inappropriate and ineffective at treating this common STD.
