Likely not: If your child tolerates the formula well for feeding, then it is unlikely to cause a rash if spilled on the skin. However, it is possible to develop a contact dermatitis (or irritant rash) whenever something touches the skin - but very unlikely.

If. The formula is not well tolerated, diarrhea may result in a rash. If the baby is allergic to the formula, hives and GI upset may occur. If there is contact with an allergen or irritant, a contact dermatitis may occur. Watch for rash, peeling and vomiting.
