Please tell me can excess protein cause joint pain?

Joint pain: There are conditions where excess of protein/immunoglobulins, can cause bone pains, not joint pains, specifically. If you have high serum protein then I would suggest you get a workup to determine the underlying cause. That, in turn, may help explain the joint pains.

No!: Not known to occur! But what is your definition of "excess." No benefits for athletic purposes occur after 2 grams of protein for every 2.2 lbs of body weight.
