Recently had ppi as earlier pacemaker gone out of power, but this time its programmed 70 bpm, had been 60bpm for a decade, is it safe to increase this?

Pacer: The pacer is probably programmed as a back up with demand rate 70 which is where most start. Ask your Doc why the change in programming. There is little difference in most cases but it is reasonable to ask the question.
