A member asked:

I have a pacemaker set for 60 bpm and i have been getting dizzy spells . when i check my pulse it seems regular , what else could cause this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Dizziness : Well, the simple fact that you have a pacemaker tells us you have significant heart issues. Assuming no cardiac causes, a quick thought is to consider your medications - BP meds can often cause dizziness. Other non cardiac causes include sinus allergies, inner ear problems, or metabolism issues (ie thyroid disease). Your best bet is to discuss this with your pcp or cardiologist. Best regards!
