5 w pregnt and have bleeding like light period. went to doctor, blood and ultrasound seems normal. told was cervix bleed, how many days can this go on?

Bleeding site: If the bleeding is coming from the outside of the cervix on its' surface 3 to 5 days. If the bleeding is coming from the interior of the uterus and flowing out to the cervix then it may be a sign of early miscarriage and you need to follow up with the MD.
