Due to inflammation: Normal, healthy people don't get this blood test done, so it is hard to know a person's CRP value before and after a vaccination. Having both numbers helps decide on the cause of a higher CRP. If one only has the CRP value after a vaccination, one does not know if it is a time coincidence or if the vaccination is creating a nice immune reaction that includes a higher CRP.
