Ovulation/pregnancy: There are a variety of things it could be, a lot depends on where you are in your menstrual cycle. If you are midcycle, it could be ovulation pain. If you are past that, a pregnancy test should be done because it could be a sign of a tubal pregnancy. An ovarian cyst is another cause of pain. It also my not be gynecologic- perhaps a muscle or hernia. If pain does not go away, see your doctor.
