Maybe: Recommended dose is 10 mg. Studies with higher doses did not show improvement. Loratadine is the weakest antihistamine out there, would recommend Cetirizine or Fexofenadine instead. If you were going to take more I would take 10 mg twice per day rather than 20 at once. With increased doses I would watch for increased side effects , especially drowsiness. We do use higher doses for hives.
