Sleep apnea: Sleep apnea can cause morning headache. Do you snore? Are you tired? Are you overweight? A "splitting headache" could be migraine. Are you sensitive to light and noise with these? Being on antibiotics does not rule out sinus infection, but I would expect sinusitis to cause pressure that is not relieved until treated, not just in the morning. Evaluation by a neurologist or an ENT may help.
