Not enough detail: The duct that is responsible for draining your tears from your eyes is located on the inner part of your upper and lower eyelids. It ends in your nasal passage. When you have significant congestion or blockage of your nose, liquid can back up and come out out your tear duct. Not necessarily more serious, but means you are very congested.
