Still low: Even though 39 is considered Advanced maternal age, the risk of miscarriage after 12 weeks is still very low. The chances of there being a chromosomal abnormality in the embryo is only appx 1 in 40 or so. A heartbeat, which you've likely seen by now, decreases the risk of miscarriage by a lot. Best of luck!
