Unusual hyperthyroid: One of the features of McCune Albright syndrome is overproduction of hormones from a number of glands, and hyperthyroidism is one of them. Among people with hyperthyroid, McCune Albright is a rare cause, however. Graves disease is autoimmune with elevated antibodies. I think the hyperthyroid of McCune Albright does not have these antibodies.

Yes: 30% of kids with McCune Albright can get hyperthyroidism. Main problems are with bobes, precocious puberty. Needs special lab work to diagnos Graves disease; it is treatable
