I have a cebasious cyst on my back. size of a large marble. had for 40 years, was painless, now inflamed and painful. surgeon put me on antibiotic. am taking acetaminophen. warm compresses help?

Infected cyst: Continue your antibiotics. Keep the area clean and warm compresses will help.

If inflamed..: If there's swelling and inflammation you might do better with some cold compresses to help the swelling and inflammation go down. Once you finish the antibiotic and the infection is gone, I would talk to your surgeon about removing the cyst once and for all to avoid this complication again.
