If anal sex is not recommend by doctors because it can cause problems like incontinence or hemorrhoids, then can gay men have a sex life?

There are a thousand ways to be sexually intimate and you are doing yourself a disservice if you think copulation is the only way. Most doctors will recommend being safe, using protection, and taking things slow with sensitivity to your partner's experience. The problems you cite will only occur from forced, penetration without lubrication. Find someone you trust , take your time, and be creative.

Incontinence and hemorrhoids are not caused by anal sex and doctors do not recommend the kind of sex one should have. Those things can occur if there is intense trauma .It is your choice. Like in any sex , gentleness, lubrication are important. You can also visit a sex therapist
