A member asked:

I've been having a lot of firey pain in my left breast. i read on a cancer page.. that it can be an indication of breat cancer, can it really?

No: Sharp pain in breast is usually a sign of problems related to fibrocystic disease. Cancer is defined as an abnormal growth in the breast and is rarely associated with pain. One should definitely have a mammogram or MRI of the left breast to rule out any underlying pathology
