No direct effect: There is no good scientific data that food allergies are a direct cause of behavioral problems. Children who are sick from consuming food that they are allergic to may also have behavioral problems, such as children with eczema that is aggravated by different foods may be irritable because of the itching.

Controversial topic: This topic is highly controversial, which means that no study has shown a conclusive relationship. Eg. Food allergy/intolerance and adhd, has been shown on blinded studies to "maybe affect a small subset of adhd patients", but the majority are unaffected. Even if this is suspected, there is no easy way to test (ige or igg) for this. Avoidance would be the only way.
