How to differentiate nph vs. parkinson's disease?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Some ideas: Sometimes this can be difficult. The key symptoms of Parkinsons are resting tremor, slow movements, and rigidity. People with NPH may have trouble rising from a chair, lifting their feet or initiating movement, but they should not have increased muscle tone or a tremor. The MRI of the brain tends to be abnormal for patients with NPH also.
