How much time does bad breath last after a tonsillectomy?

Depends: At what percentage did your tonsils contribute to your halitosis, I don't know. I would ask you to see your dentist for a checkup. Make sure you are cleared by your Ear,Nose and Throat surgeon.

2-3 weeks: Sometimes the poet surgery fluid could not be drained away, it could lead to bad breath after a procedure. The bad breath should stop after the tonsils area has healed and when you start having your normal diet again. It takes 2-3 weeks.
