Obsession txment.: Clomipramine, fluoxetine, fluvoxamine, paroxetine, andsertraline, which are approved by the (FDA) for treatment of OCD, are recommended pharmacological agents. Although meta-analyses of placebo-controlled trials suggest greater efficacy for clomipramine than for fluoxetine, fluvoxamine, & sertraline. Psychotherapy-CBT using behavioral techniques such as response prevention (ERP) is recommended.
