Menstrual cramps: Consider omega- 3 fatty acids or magnesium (supplementation or through diet) with dr ok. Discuss use of herbal like Black Cohosh with your dr. Sipping Chamomile & Green tea can dissipate pain. Avoid caffeine, chocolate, alcohol & salt. NSAID’s, warm bath, heating pad & acupuncture are excellent for dysmenorrhea. Get GYN eval – check Magnesium & iodine levels & to rule out underlying pathology.
