Up to 10 days: in some people drinking within 10 days of taking disulfirma (antabuse) can cause a reaction. The larger question is why you want to go back to drinking that has obviously been very destructive to your life. There are better medications that reduce craving to drink - acamprosate, Naltrexone - and a counseling program is necessary to help you make better choices.Talk to your doctor rather than drink

Antabuse (disulfiram): Antabuse (disulfiram) reaction can occur up to a week after last dose, if alcohol is consumed. After all, why take Antabuse (disulfiram) if you can't stop drinking?.

Confusing.: The whole idea of taking Antabuse (disulfiram) is to stop drinking; so why would you want to drink after taking it? But to answer your question, Antabuse (disulfiram) has a 12-hour half-life, meaning that it takes your body 12 hours to clear out half of it -- so i wouldn't attempt to drink any alcohol (even cough medicine) for 3 days, minimum.

NO!!!!!!!: you have had pancreatitis, and your doctor thought that your drinking was out of control, and that is why disulfiram (Antabuse) was prescribed. However, it doesn't work by itself, and you need to be in an intensive counseling program, in addition to attending self-help groups like AA. Antabuse may cause a reaction with alcohol up to 10 days after a dose. Talk to your doctor or counselor ASAP.
