Dental Degrees: There may be exceptions but generally: 3 months to 1 year for a certified Dental Assistant; 2 years for a Dental Hygienist; 4 years for a General Dentist; varies for Dental Technician. Dental courses can be from one hour online to two years.

Dental education: After 4 years of college Dental School requires an additional 4 years (10,000 hours) of training. To further specialize requires another 2-5 years (5,000 to12,500 hours) of training.
