A member asked:

Can you tell me how the human finger bend?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The finger bends where there is a joint. The bones of the joint are held together by ligaments and muscles of the finger contract and the tendon that is attached to a muscle on one end and the finger bone on the other end pulls the finger bone down when the muscle contracts.
