Complex carbs: by eating complex carbohydrates, high in fiber such as fruits, vegetables, legumes and beans, you can control your blood sugar. The sugars are more slowly released into the blood due to the fiber. Unlike processed foods and high sugar foods where the sugar is released into the blood in higher amounts, fiber slows down the digestion and release of sugar into the blood.
