How much time does it typically take to detox from a medicine?

I don't like term: "detox," which literally means taking out a poison or toxin. This question cannot be answered, because there are thousands of different medications, and all of them are different. Some are very short-acting, not very fat soluble. are rapidly metabolized and excreted and are completely gone in hours, while others accumulate in fats cells, muscle or the liver/other organs and can take weeks/months.
