It depends: If there is no break/dislocation,the most important thing about treating shoulder injuries is to keep them moving(so they don't 'freeze').Dangling the arm down and making circles(small then larger)may help.Ice is very helpful in the first few days, then heat will help.NSAIDS,if you can take them,may help as well. It is important to see your doctor for significant injuries or if it isn't improving.
