My 5 yr. old complains frequently (2 months now) of her stomach hurting but she is not sick. could this be for attention, has 2 younger siblings?

Belly ache: It could be stress (new school, sibbling rivarly, movint to new neighboorhood etc). Sometime we do trial of antiacids (zantac) . Is better to see pediatrician for a good history, exam, and then consider some meds or testing. Is alway a great sign when kids do not look or act sick, are playful and happy.
