A member asked:

How much time do vaccinations last?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Variable: Some vaccines, usually the virus related like MMR can confer lifetime immunity to some if given after a year of age. Most (>95%) will get this with 2 doses at least a month apart (most get it at 1 & 4-5), Bacterial vaccines like that for pertussis, or bacterial meningitis confer protection for a limited number of years and need boosters to remain helpful.
