UTI: Eradicating a UTI may occur spontaneously, with lots of fluids, but, more often, requires a short course of an antibiotic. If you have frequent infections, it would be important to be sure there are no underlyling abnormalities in the urinary tract that would predispose to infection. Otherwise, keeping well hydrated and avoiding long delays before bladder emptying can both be helpful.
