OTC meds, more water: There are otc meds such as Azo standard (phenazopyridine) that can ease discomfort. Drinking more fluids can help as well. But if you're having frequent uti's you should see a urogynecologist or urologist to have an exam to see why this is happening. Commonly, women with frequent uti's find that this is related to intercourse and it can be managed with prophylactic antibiotics.
