A member asked:

How much time will symptoms of a cocaine overdose last?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Highly variable: If it proves to be fatal, it essentially lasts forever. Cocaine is a short-acting drug, which is present in the bloodstream and brain for 10-15 minutes after a single dose, which is why people who smoke, snort or inject cocaine may do it 3 or 4 times per hour. However, it has metabolites that can last longer, in particular in people who drink alcohol with it. The ill effects can last many hours.
