Usually Benign: Liver cysts are usually benign and never cause pain. You don't need to do anything about them and they usually don't cause liver dysfunction. The left lobe of your liver is still located in your liver. The liver is on the right side of your body so any pain would be on your right side. You should see your primary care doctor to evaluate your pain and liver cyst.
