When you have a gum inflammation & you have a wisdom tooth coming though on top right side. can wisdom tooth affect how long the inflammation goes ?

Yes.: Active tooth eruption means the immediate area will be inflammed until the tooth fully erupts or is removed. Inflammation is OFTEN be a sign of infection. Antibiotics with or without periodontal treatment may be needed before the inflammation resolves. Meticulous home care is essential with gentle brushing after any food intake and flossing slowly (not aggressively) twice a day.

Irrelevant: The bacteria and other particles, constantly form a sticky, colorless toxic “plaque” on teeth causing the gums to become inflamed, painful and numb ( tingling sensations) easily bleed. This is a serious problem, called gum disease (gingivitis) which should be checked and treated by a dentist. Wisdom tooth s a separate issue and need to be addressed separately by the same dentist.
