A member asked:

I had a ct scan of the pelvis and abdomen, will that show anything wrong with my stomach aswell, which organs can be seen in a abdominal ct scan?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Let's see: The bottom of your lungs usually, stomach, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, intestines, kidneys and the tubes that drain them, adrenal glands, bladder, lymph nodes when enlarged, ovaries and uterus if female, prostate and scrotum/testicles if male. And of course, large veins and arteries. Be aware that hollow organs are not really well visualized on CTs
