Most likely injury: If your knee swelling started right after a lot of physical activity, it's very likely that you sustained a minor injury that is causing your knee to swell even if you don't recall it happening. Put ice on it, take NSAIDS (Motrin or naproxen) and if it doesn't start improving after a few days, be sure to see your regular doctor for further evaluation. You may need to see an orthopedic doc.
