Sinustitis: Your best bet is to rule out sinusitis with exam by your local ENT doctor. He may order CT scan paranasal sinuses after exam.

Mucus drip/swelling: If your teeth/gums are healthy, especially upper molars, than cause is probably sinus infection. Please see your GP, or better, a specialist ENT, for appropriate evaluation and treatment.
