Get seen...: There are other medications that can be prescribed that are not available over the counter so most likely you will need to get seen. If you have so severe allergies it is a good idea to get seen by an Allergist and get specific allergy testing.

Scratching worsens: If you are scratching an area of skin often it may itch more. It is difficult to say what could cause this itching, especially without knowing the location. A good emollient cream such as cetaphil or vanicream applied frequently can help. Coconut oil can also be beneficial. Removing any dyes or perfumes from products used on the skin such as soap and laundry detergent can also help.
