If the aphasia: is due to MS it can be worsened with extremes of heat. In a hot environment blood is re-routed to the body surface to help dissipate heat. Sometimes this will result in less blood flow to other organs as there is a fixed amount of blood in the body at any time. Less blood going to an already taxed language are of the brain.
