COPD...: COPD stands for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. So, the pulmonary function tests would show chronic obstruction. If the spirometry is normal, meaning no obstruction, then COPD is not the diagnosis. Asthma is a possibility since many asthmatics have normal spirometry between exacerbations.
