A member asked:

How can i get rid of hammertoe blisters?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Blisters are fluid: Filled and they can be pierced with a sterile instrument after cleaning the skin to allow the fluid to exit. If they reoccur, you likely are wearing shoes that are too tight. The purpose of a hammertoe repair is to straighten the toe so the top is not sticking up too high and causing too much friction resulting in corns or blisters.
