A member asked:

Is it possible for too much smoking to cause a sore throat?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: If you have ever been in or near a fire, and are inhaling smoke, you end up coughing, your throat and even lungs get sore. Cigarette smoking does the same thing, just in lower doses over a longer period of time. Lung and head/neck cancer are worse problems, are are heart attacks, strokes, chronic bronchitis, emphysema and many other complications. The sore throat is the least of it. Please QUIT!!!
