I'm wondering can the disease "hole in the heart" be inherited?

Maybe.: There are several diseases that can cause a 'hole in the heart' most often they are small and resolve on their own or can be fixed as an infant. Some are inherited, and some are spontaneous. Just have follow up with OB during the pregnancy so they can catch any major issues.
