Not likely: At ur age, unless you have had a previous injury that subjected you to degenerative arthritis, only an inflammatory type of arthritis would lead to a destroyed joint space. Your Sx sound much more consistent with a loose body or less likely a focal area of wear/injury with a flap of cartilage getting caught. See a ORTHO doc or even better an ORTHO foot and ankle specialist.
