A male has a golf size lump on arm near elbow. can it be a hernia?

Not a hernia: A mass near the elbow may be a lipoma ( benign fat tumor) , a cyst ( benign skin lesion), or rarely an enlarged lymph node, or other rare tumors. A hernia can only occur from a hollow body cavity, the chest or abdomen.

Not a hernia: Hernias are holes in the abdominal wall. A lump on the upper extremity is likely a lipoma (common, non cancerous fatty tumor), but should be checked out by a primary care provider.
