7 days: Your doctor is correct. Vaping after a tooth extraction is not recommended for one week, because vapor can reduce saliva that promotes healing. Also the suction that may disturb the clot and cause a dry sockets. Take care.

Vaping: You asked your question in May. It's now November. 26 people have died from vaping since May. Numerous others have been hospitalized with life altering dycrasias. Talk to your Physician and your Dentist again. They may recommend that you avoid vaping altogether.
