Cortaid (hydrocortisone): Antihistamines don't help much with rashes due to contact allergens. You'll do much better with 1% Hydrocortisone cream applied twice daily until a few days after the rash goes away. If it doesn't seem to help, see your physician for some more effective prescription options.
