Get opinion from doc: You should ask this of your doctor or pharmacist since there are other details of your history or situation that are not as obvious to those answering questions long distance. OTC medications can and do contain substances that interact with prescription drugs. If you have the pamphlet from the pharmacy where your Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) was filled it may have information that can help you. Bravo for asking.

Drug Interaction: If you are taking Adderall as a regular medication for ADD for example and have allergy symptoms that require an over the counter decongestant, there should be minimal risk if you don't take other meds that interact, or have other health problems. If you have ongoing congestion, you might consider prescription nasal spray with antihistamine to increase effectiveness.

Yes: Speak to your doctor. There is little risk when taking most decongestants, except those containing pseudoephdrin because the combination can cause an increase in your blood pressure and heart rate. An.alternative is the use of a nasal spray to unblock nasal and sinus passages. Consider the long acting nasal sprays for no more than 3-4 days at a time.
