A member asked:

If no egg mature in a cycle, no period, will the same eggs continue to grow to mature or another set of eggs will be available for the next cycle.?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

New set: Each month, there is a race between the eggs on your ovaries to see which one will will be the one that ovulates. The losing eggs dry up and go away permanently. The winner leaves the ovary when you ovulate. If no ovulation occurs, all the eggs for that month dry up and new eggs form the next cycle.
